Let's Welcome the New Couple!
Here is the new couple for my
challenge! Their names are (introducing
from left to right) Grace Taylor and Henry Taylor, the proud soon to be parents
of 150 babies! Grace has the traits
hopeless romantic, friendly, good sense of humor, animal lover, frugal, and
family orientated. Henry has the traits
neat freak, natural cook, family orientated, virtuous, and the others I
forget. LOL! My brain is wibbly wobbly when it comes to
remember fine details as such! Also, the
two are engaged and will soon be married.
The two moved into
their lovely one bedroom one bathroom beach front home at Island Paradise. For some reason the two were highly obsessed
with wanting to watch the TV! I let them
watch for a while, but then put them to work as in getting used to life, so
Grace went to take a bath and Henry went in the kitchen to cook their first
meal in their new home and life.
Here's a close up on
a serious Henry preparing brunch! He's
making waffles for their first meal!
This is a picture of
them sharing their first meal! I know
I'm being way too gushy! But I FINALLY get to play Sims!
To start off their
family, Henry thought it would be nice to get a pet. Of course his fiancé thought it was okay, so
Henry looked in the newspaper and adopted a puppy from the shelter.
Before the puppy's
arrival, the couple bought all the needed things for their new pet such as a
small bed, a food bowl, and some toys for him to play with. When the puppy did arrive, he was too small
to go up the stairs to the front door, so Grace had to build a relationship
with him in order for her to pick up the puppy and carry him into the
house. She had to do it quick, because
the poor thing was hungry and it was starting to rain.
Here's a picture of
the couple sleeping in their bed for the first time!
Oh I forgot to tell
you guys that the puppy's name is Max Taylor.
Isn't he cute eating from his bowl!
The Next day, Henry
woke up before his fiancé.
While she
slept, he made them breakfast.
He made a fresh
batch of waffles, which is a good thing, because their current fridge gave the
waffles he made last night a bit of an unwanted bite! EWW!
Here is Max
again! He fell asleep in the corner
after being scolded by Grace for destroying her furniture.
Poor baby! Maybe later the Taylors can adopt a playmate
for him later, when they become even more settled.
The two decided to
have a private wedding since they don't know anyone yet and they really wanted
(as in I really wanted for them) to get married. They tied the knot on the balcony of their
new house over looking the ocean.
Well it's time to
WOOHOO! It's baby making time!
Maybe later they can
go on a real honey moon, so the puppy won't be left alone.
Here are they making
poses aka me playing with pose player!
The lovey dovey
(excuse my misspelling French :>) couple kissing it out on the couch! I wanted to see how this was going to work,
since Henry is a lot taller than the regular sim man. Before loading the game, I added some sliders
(extra design tools to make my sims look at least half decent) and used them on
the both of them. Grace is still the
same height as other sim women but she has a longer neck. So if they look weird doing certain things,
it's because of their height differences and that the game doesn't work on that
level.
Here they are
smooching again!
Oh No! What's wrong with Grace!
Even though no one
was in the bathroom, Grace ran outside after waking up that morning and up chucked on the front porch. Good thing vomit disappears and this isn't
the real world, because I don't know how I would feel about seeing that first
thing in the morning.
Here's Grace
dabbling in some music building up a skill, which reminds me I will also try to
make them develop/master five skills each.
It makes it fun for me! Oh and I
know I don't have a picture, but Grace'll try to get a job as a teacher or a
part time one on the island they are living on, so that she'll be closer to
home.
Here's Henry, on the
new laptop. I remodeled the house
some. You can't tell from this picture,
but I redid the bedroom some, enlarge the bedroom and the kitchen and deck, replaced some furniture in the living room,
and put in some new appliances in the
kitchen. Now back to Henry. What's he doing on the laptop? Well he's doing his new job. He's now a writer! I think I'll do the stay at home dad this
time and there's a reason for that . . . Dun dun dun dun! To be continued!!!
